Fun With Flickr
As with most things on the Internet, Flickr can be very fun, provided that you have a fast enough connection and stay out of the seedier nooks and crannies. Randomly browsing strangers’ photos may sound creepy, but we’re all a little creepy. And besides, that’s why they’re available. If people didn’t want us looking at pictures of their travels, birthdays, and family reunions, they wouldn’t put them online, or they would at least have a 14-year old teach them basic access control.
I’m not starting a new thread to encourage your voyeuristic tendencies though, but to house links to interesting pictures found on photo-sharing sites (although I suppose this could also become a catch-all for all discovered images in general).
To get you started, try searching Flickr for your birth year. My search turned up this beauty shown here.
Anyway, go ahead and let yourself randomly flip through strangers’ online photo albums, tinker with searches, and post any interesting finds here.
And also, if any of you have legitimate albums of your own (on Flickr or elsewhere), feel free to share those too.
Mental Note: doing a Google search for dog, “anal glands” is embarrassing even when you’re alone.

I don’t know who this dude is, but I really like his collection of pictures of old houses in Ohio.
Funny–I have that dude’s collection of old Ohio signs bookmarked as a favorite!
I post my photos on Flickr and don’t find it weird if other people look through my photos, though my boyfriend thinks it’s creepy. Why did the picture Stinky posted of the two kids in the trunk make me laugh outloud? I think it may have been the infant sitting up (or propped up).

He was a member of the Commodores (you’re probably at least familiar with their song Brick House) and then he had a successful solo career. Looking at his wiki, he really did have a lot of popular songs…
And the wiki entry for Brick House has an excellent description of the song: A brick house is slang for a voluptuous woman. The song describes the benefits of being a “brick house” and the narrator’s affection for this particular woman.

Do you get the feeling that goats just have waaay too much time on their hands?
I’m not sure where else to put this so it’s going here. Chris cut this out of the paper and gave it to me a few weeks ago and I hung it up on my fridge so I could see it every time my tongue got thirsty. Now I’m constantly “aware.”

those were really cool, but i’m not sure “the naked miley” deserves to be on this list. Here is a man on the moon and here is miley without a shirt on…doesn’t work for me
Many of those pics deserved to make that list and a lot didn’t. Also, I don’t consider stills of video footage to be “photos.”
The real tragedy is that so many of these photos are in black and white. Imagine how powerful they would have been in color.
