And during post-lunch playtime, one of the girls started pulling her brothers around:

If that’s still on your DVR, I want to see it.
Ah, thank you. That’s who I was looking for.
Unfortunately, I delete these as soon as I watch them, so I don’t have it anymore. I was so amused by him (or maybe more in my own connection between him and Seinfeld) that I probably should’ve saved it…
Oh wait, did a quick search on YouTube and there’s a video of that J! ep now. I’m talking about Andy, who’s on the right. I’ll watch it again too. Boy, I hope this doesn’t turn out to be another case of my imagination making something out of nothing:

Read this comment in contextI didn’t realize until I started typing, but I have two Seinfeld references here to describe one Jeopardy! contestant…
On last night’s Jeopardy! one of the challengers, Andy, was quite the loud talker. I turned my TV down twice because of him shouting his answers. But also, the way he talks really reminds me of the guy Elaine wants to date simply because he’s not interested in her. (I can’t remember his name or find a pic or video of him though.)

Read this comment in contextThere was an amusing and awkward moment on tonight’s Jeopardy!. The category was “Begins with a Body Part” and they showed a picture of a chinchilla and the guy’s guess was titmouse.

Read this comment in contextThe man vs. computer matches were kind of interesting.
I agree. Not something I care to watch every week, but it held my interest and it was enjoyable and a nice change (unlike the teen tournaments). I’m glad they showed Watson’s possible answers each time. That gives more insight to its reasoning.
But yeah, it turned into an IBM commercial.

Read this comment in contextHere’s a list of Trivial Pursuit editions.
It’s really annoying how TP has dumbed down things to appeal to… a dumber crowd. They don’t need to reinvent the thing, just release new packs of cards. Or at least keep releasing good, solid editions along with your crap versions “where players don’t have to know all the answers to win.”

Read this comment in contextI’ve been working through last week’s eps of Jeopardy! and did a double take when I got to Friday, the season finale. And Scott also emailed me last night about this, so I’m guessing he was amused/annoyed as well.
This site has a decent write-up, but essentially the “middle” contestant was a real boob. Or wang, I suppose, as you can see by how he wrote his name. I won’t give him any more gratuitous search engine hits by mentioning his name or profession, but suffice to say that I’m glad he didn’t win. Now if the mimbo would lose we could get back to some sort of Jeopardy! normalcy.
