Read this comment in contextPsycho is one of the best thriller movies ever. I couldn’t find my favorite scene, the one just after Norman Bates sinks the car in the pond and then has a staredown with the camera. Gives me the creeps every time. However, this is my second favorite scene. I hope it doesn’t spoil it for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet.
Norman Bates wouldn’t hurt a fly.

Liz: I got rid of all my Colin Firth movies in case they consider them erotica.
Jack: That man can wear a sweater”What was the context of this quote? I’m shocked that Colin Firth was mentioned on that show, and I’d hardly call his movies erotic, just romantic.

Read this comment in contextI saw The Philadelphia show quite a few weeks ago, something about child abuse- was laughing out loud the majority of the time. But thought that the show got cancelled cause I hadn’t heard anything else about it.

Read this comment in contextI love the new website! Everything looks real sharp, and I love the blue. Uploading the pages is certainly quicker. Stinky I like your new avatar. Makes Islam look radical. I think it is a great idea to see what threads other people have started as well. Good job, Bill. It looks awesome.

Read this comment in contextWow. Now I am completely convinced that this article HAS to be an April Fool’s joke. Kevin what you said had me thinking but the clincher was that the article said “International party celebrity Corey Delaney is promoting Buckeye Lake at Spring Break events, colleges and bars” with a pic of the punk kid from the infamous “Aussie Party” clip in the viral video thread. This was good.
Also, I searched the MIG website and there are no results for a “Buckeye Lake” search. The website itself states “One of the largest private developers of toll roads in the world”.

Read this comment in contextOK, now that Kelsey has mentioned one of THE most romantic singers ever I feel like I can start listing my favorite love songs.
1. I Love You (For Sentimental Reasons) – Nat King Cole
2. Nancy – Frank Sinatra
3. You & I – Michael Buble
4. When Did You Fall – Chris Rice
5. Night & Day – The Temptations
6. Some Enchanted Evening – Rogers & Hammerstein
7. You Belong To Me – Jason Wade
9. Love Me Tender – Elvis Presley
10. Love Will Keep Us Alive – The Eagles
11. Moonlight Serenade – Ella FitzgeraldWhy is Billy Joel listed more than once on here? He’s no good unless Uptown Girl is playing. One note about Nat King Cole – sexiest male voice to ever be in existence so anything he sings is romantic.
Other songs that are romantic no matter who sings them:
- Everybody Loves Somebody
- Embraceable YouLove songs that should never have been composed:
- Sexual Healing – Marvin Gaye
- Red Red Wine – UB40
- Chocolate Rain – some internet punk kid

Read this comment in contextI didn’t notice it before but on National Hanging Out Day there is a picture of two goofy ladies (one whose fashion sense favors Crocs) standing behind a clothesline with a caption stating “They hang paper clothes/baby clothes on the clothesline with all kinds of interesting facts promoting clotheslines”. One of the quotes on a paper undergarment states “Clotheslines are for Everyone”. Genius.

Read this comment in contextWho gets to the end of their checking account balance and goes and writes a 850$ check? That’s just nonsense. I can see how a bank could be concerned about getting that money paid back, but I do agree that clearing checks in order for their advantage is pretty underhanded. Thank goodness for technology today, i.e. online banking. Makes it so much easier to check your account activity.

Read this comment in contextOh boy. I read this article about some trash to throw into this pile of political conspiracy. Says that Pres. Bush has a cousin who was an executive at Lehman’s.
Posted By Mary on October 1, 2008 @ 9:32 pm
Read this comment in contextOh man, where do I start. Let me pour a glass of wine first…
OK. We got here for a variety of reasons, most of which I personally believe are due to congress pushing mortgage companies into “subprime lending”, exactly what Darren said. Due to some awful economic policies to promote fairness and diversity in the 1990’s (ahem – clinton – ahem), companies are lending money to untrustworthy clients.
That being said, I have a beef with Bush now that I have not had till this past week. Why is he pushing for this? It will increase taxpayer’s money owed to the government and he being Republican should be opposed to that, right? I have this awful premonition than there is a little more corruption in the White House that I ever thought. A lot of politicians have some great friends in these Fortune 500 Companies, including one Democrat ( Barney Frank) who once had romantic relations with a Fannie Mae executive. Politicians, I am learning, are or are become corrupt to gain support vocally and monetarily. This makes me sad. Also, why are Obama AND Mccain both supporting this bill?
People, please read this article written by an economics instructor at Harvard University.Another point to make is who honestly feels comfortable having the government own their mortgage? Freaks me out! Please, Congressman, let the small and large businesses do some of their job here. If one mortgage company fails, another will surely buy them out. This may even help smaller financial institutions add to their clientele. An elderly patient of mine said he was so worried and sad for today’s society stating “they want to make us all socialists”. He remembers what the Marx/Lenin ideology drove Russia to that we all seem to forget.
An analogy I heard the other day went as thus: If we ran out of trees, don’t go spending government dollars on lumberjacks. Develop another job and source of income for those men. Don’t keep putting money into a ruined company. Let other companies pick up some slack and earn some revenue.
Anyways. I’ve made my peace. When congress and Bush pass this awful bill you may hitch a ride with me when I move to Mexico.

Read this comment in contextEveryone who loves cheesy soup should try the Panera Bread Broccoli Cheese Soup. It is supurb.
Also I have been trying to find the best salad dressings out there in restaraunts and have found that Steak N Shake has the best Thousand Island dressing, Le Chatelaine has the best lite Caesar and Outback Steakhouse has the best creamy Caesar. Max And Erma’s has some great Ranch and, of course, Olive Garden has the best Italian dressing. I wish to everything that I could find a really good Caesar dressing that is available in stores.
